Sex and The City fans went wild this week over a tantalizing online theory about which political party the four main characters would vote for.
The iconic drama – which ran on TV for six seasons between 1998-2004 and then two movies, followed the New York City sexcapades and dramas of best friends Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon).

At the time of the renewal, showrunner Michael Patrick King released a statement, per Entertainment Tonight.
